Gorgeous Bismuth

What is it?!- Bismuth is not a gemstone, it is an element. Pure- with other compounds. Lab grown, but not man made. Oh and slightly radio active. I mean it's so weakly active that its half life is estimated to be more than a billion times the age of the solar system.

Bismuth is a chemical element with the symbol Bi and atomic number 83. It is a pentavalent post-transition metal and one of the pnictogens with chemical properties resembling its lighter homologs arsenic and antimony. Elemental bismuth may occur naturally, although its sulfide and oxide form important commercial ores. Bismuth is over 8 times rarer than silver and it's one of the most beautiful metals, due to its variety of oxide colors.
